12,000 wristbands, reclaimed pallet wrap, steel
This work weaves together the 12,000 wristbands that were never used in 2019 because the festival was cancelled on the day because of the weather. Following two further years of cancellation in 2020 and 2021 due to the international pandemic, it felt fitting that this work paid homage to the dedication of all involved, the festivals lost and the spirit of return. Celebrating the love, commitment, patience and community that goes into creating such an event.
